PU Injection

One component low viscosity, closed cell, polyurethane injection which gives a blowing reaction with water. It is polyurethane waterproofing material which is specially designed for sealing of pressurized or non-pressurized water leaking from the cracks on the concrete surfaces.

Surface Preparation

All joints and leaks must be free of oil, grease and moisture before the application. Fill the leaks bigger than 3mm with suitable repair mortar. The locations of the pakers are determined according to the region where the leak has occurred and its situation. Pakers (injectors) are placed at a 45 degree angle. Pakers should be struck halfway through the reinforced concrete thickness. The distance between packers should be between 15 and 90 cm. The holes are cleaned from dust

APPLICATION
First, mix PU INJ CATALYST properly. Add catalyst into Injection. Stir it properly until it gets homogenously mixing. Catalyst ratio should be determined at the application area according to crack and water flowing rate and weather conditions. The ratio of the catalyst should be %2 – %10. The application pressure varies between 14 and 200 bar. The application should be started with first peak. Start with low pressure, then the pressure is increased until resin overflow. During application resin flow from cracks willl occur then application should be ended. The consumption of PU INJECTION is adjusted amount just for filling cracks and holes completely.

Cleaning of Tools

Shelf Life

Can be kept for 12 months minimum in the original unopened pails in dry places and at temperatures of +5 ˚C and +25 ˚C. Once opened, use as soon as possible

Apply in well-ventilated, no smoking areas, away from naked flames. In closed spaces use ventilators and carbon active masks. Hands and eyes must be protected with gloves and protective glasses. In case of eye contact, rinse eyes with plenty of water for the material. During application ventilation should be done well. The MSDS (Materail Safety Data Sheet) is available on request.
